General Comments:

Corn closed 12 cents higher in the July and 27 1/2 cents lower in the December. Soybeans closed 16 cents higher in the July and 23 1/4 cents lower in the November. Wheat closed 16 cents lower in the September Chicago, 11 1/2 cents lower in the September Kansas City, and 8 cents lower in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is 0.28 higher at 83.43. August gold is up $13.00 at $1,224.60 while September silver is up $.95 and September copper is up $0.0040. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 36 points lower at 14,989. ...
