General Comments:

Corn closed 10 3/4 cents higher in the May and 8 1/4 cents higher in the December. Soybeans closed 17 1/2 cents higher in the May and 9 1/2 cents higher in the November. Wheat closed 3 3/4 cents lower in the May Chicago, 2 cents higher in the July Kansas City, and unchanged in the May Minneapolis. The U.S. dollar index is 0.410 lower at 82.342. June gold is $13.20 higher at $1,585.70 while May silver is $0.732 higher and May copper is $0.0710 higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 87 points higher at 14,700. May ...
