Corn 1/4 cent higher, soybeans 10 cents lower, and wheat 1 cent lower.

The commodity sector is a sea of red, for the most part, as a new month starts and the U.S. government sequester begins. Economic uncertainty looks to be weighing on the investment side of the sector early Friday morning, with additional pressure coming from the lower Dow Jones Industrial Average futures and stronger U.S. dollar index.
