General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are lower with the Dow futures down 200. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 3 higher. Energies are mixed with crude down $0.60. Livestock trade is mixed with strength shifting to hogs. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $4.


Corn trade is 2 to 3 lower at midday with outside markets taking a negative turn. Ethanol margins are still good for producers and are showing signs of improvement for blenders, but profit margins have slipped this month. The weekly export sales were good this morning with 693,000 ...
