U.S. stock markets are mixed with Dow futures down 5. Interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 3 lower. Energies are higher with crude up $.45. Livestock trade is lower. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $10.

Corn futures are 2 to 5 higher at midday> Planting weather and light outside market support are noted for the higher trade. For the week, trade has stayed in a 25-cent range.
