General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are firmer with the Dow futures up 38. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 39 points higher. Energies are mixed with crude down $1.30 and unleaded is up a penny. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are lower narrowly mixed.


Corn trade is 5 higher on nearby and a penny lower on new crop at midday. The outside markets have firmed, lead by the stock market, which has us nearly a dime above our early lows on the near by. With the federal government sequester kicking in, there ...
