The rainfall threat for the major corn and soybean areas of central Argentina late last week was a dissipointment with only scattered light showers with locally heavier observed. Another significant period of dry weather is now in store for the region with temperatures likely heating up again during the latter half of the week after having cooled off with the frontal passage late last week. The only chance of showers during the next 7-10 days appears to be early next week and they are only expected to be light.
