OMAHA (DTN) -- Rainfall targeting the Western Corn Belt, and widespread late-week rain in the Southern Plains, are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Thursday.

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for Midwest rainfall to focus in the west and south during the next week. This allows for improved conditions for planting in the north and east areas.
