OMAHA (DTN) -- An improving pattern for eastern Midwest field work along with minimal rainfall for the southwestern Plains wheat areas are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Wednesday.


The DTN ag weather forecast calls for episodes of mostly light precipitation to keep field work slow in the western Midwest region during the next 10 days. Drier weather may favor increasing field work and planting in the eastern and southern Midwest during this period.
