OMAHA (DTN) -- A return of colder and wetter conditions in the Midwest, and variable rainfall for the southwestern Plains, are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Friday.


The DTN ag weather forecast calls for weekend rain followed by very cool weather early next week to keep Midwest field work and early planting progress slow. The region may see more rain chances later in the week or next weekend.
