OMAHA (DTN) -- Minimal southwest Plains precipitation and variable Midwest 10-day temperature trends are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Tuesday.

VARIABLE MIDWEST TEMPERATURE TREND

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for low temperatures in the Midwest to be followed by light to moderate precipitation, thus keeping fieldwork at a minimum in the region during the balance of this week. A more variable temperature pattern follows. There is some risk for more precipitation favoring the west and north Midwest during the six-to-10-day period.
