OMAHA (DTN) -- A late-winter storm system in the eastern Midwest, along with dry conditions in Southern Plains and Ukraine crop areas, are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Wednesday.

SNOW AND RAIN IN MIDWEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for a storm system bringing snow and rain to the eastern Midwest to continue delaying the start of spring fieldwork. Transportation will also be disrupted by this wintry precipitation. Soil moisture in soft red winter wheat areas is adequate.
