OMAHA (DTN) -- Weekend ice and snow in Midwest and favorable South America moisture are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Friday.

COLD WAVE EASES IN MIDWEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for soft red winter wheat areas of the Midwest to have a new round of below normal winter cold conditions, but not excessively cold during the next seven days. Snow, ice and rain will form over the region, and may cause some stress in areas of extreme icing.
