OMAHA (DTN) -- A limited threat to Midwest wheat from Arctic cold and follow-up rain for Argentina are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Wednesday.

LIMITED COLD WAVE EFFECT ON MIDWEST WHEAT

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for the latest Midwest cold wave to reach the northernmost soft red winter wheat areas of the Midwest. This cold outbreak is putting pressure on transportation and livestock. However, snow cover may help protect the crop from this cold.
