OMAHA (DTN) -- Bitter cold conditions in the Midwest and a beneficial round of rain are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Thursday.

BITTER COLD IN MIDWEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for episodes of below- to much-below-normal temperatures to maintain high feed usage for Midwest livestock. Snow in south and east areas may mean transportation concerns Thursday, but conditions improve Friday.
