OMAHA (DTN) -- A variable temperature trend in the Midwest and a hotter and drier period in Argentina and southern Brazil are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Monday.

VARIABLE MIDWEST TEMPERATURES

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for a widely variable temperature trend in the Midwest during the next week to 10 days. Northern areas will continue with below to much below normal temperatures, while western and southern areas have a milder pattern. A new round of harsh cold temperatures along with potential rain and freezing precipitation is indicated for next week.
