OMAHA (DTN) -- A lingering cold pattern in the Midwest and shower chances for next week in southern Brazil are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Friday.

COLD PATTERN LINGERS IN MIDWEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for periods of very low temperatures to maintain high feed usage for livestock in the Midwest. Snow and some mixed precipitation over southern and eastern areas will cause some transportation issues during the weekend.
