OMAHA (DTN) -- A cold spell for Midwest harvest progress along with limited dry concerns in Brazil are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Tuesday.

COLD SPELL FOR MIDWEST HARVEST

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for very cold temperatures will firm the ground and mostly favor the final harvest effort in the Midwest. Lingering harvest is especially noted in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Michigan. Meanwhile, a warmer trend early in the six-to-10-day period will favor soft red winter wheat.
