OMAHA (DTN) -- Rain next week in the Midwest and a milder weather trend in Argentina's wheat areas are the primary weather items for the commodity trade's attention Friday.

WETTER SEVEN-DAY MIDWEST PATTERN

The DTN ag weather forecast calls for cold but dry weather for Midwest harvesting through the weekend. Rain develops early to mid-next week, beginning in the west and north and spreading towards the southeast. This will likely slow harvest progress and may stall the harvest in some sections.
