USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- The condition of the nation's winter wheat crop remained about steady with last week at 30% poor to very poor, according to USDA's Crop Progress and Condition report for the week ended April 7. However, the split between "very poor" and "poor" worsened slightly, with two more percentage points in the "very poor" category than last week. In fact, the portion of the crop rated good to excellent actually increased two percentage points, too.
