Light to moderate rain will cover the southwestern Plains Friday. Improvement to the wheat crop in this region will be limited, but the rain will benefit grassland and soils for cotton. Other U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions will be dry with favorable temperatures for crop progress.

Highs: 70s/80s all areas except 90s Southeast.
