A combination of rain and moderate to heavy snow continued in eastern South Dakota through central Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan Wedneday afternoon. Light snow was also featured in northern North Dakota and the central and western Canadian Prairies. Temperatures ranged from the mid 20s in the southern Prairies, western North Dakota, and northern Wisconsin to the low 80s in eastern New Mexico. Strong southerly winds were noted throughout the Plains and the western and central Midwest.
