Rain and thunderstorms were reported Tuesday through the east coast states from Florida to New England. Snow on the back side of the cold front was noted from Kentucky and West Virginia to western New York State and southeast Canada. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canada crop areas Tuesday. Temperatures ranged from the upper 20s in the Great Lakes region to the 80s in Florida.
