Light to moderate rain will cover the eastern Midwest and southeastern U.S. Friday, along with light snow in portions of the western Plains, and moderate snow in eastern Canada. Other primary U.S. and Canadian crop regions will be dry. Temperatures will remain cold for the season in the northern areas, with southern areas very warm to hot.
