Light snow and rain occurred through north-central areas of the Midwest and the northern Great Lakes region Wednesday. Light rain and showers were reported through northeast and far eastern areas of the Midwest. It is mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canada crop and livestock areas. Temperatures ranged from 20s in the Canadian Prairies to the low 80s in south Texas and south Florida.
