Light rain changing to snow across the north-central and northeast Midwest region and through the Great Lakes areas during Wednesday. Showers and light rain through the eastern Midwest. Mostly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies Crop and livestock areas Wednesday.

Highs Wednesday: 30s and a few low 40s Canadian Prairies, 30s to near 50 Northern Plains, upper 40s to low 60s central and Southern Plains, 30s to middle 50s Midwest, 60s Delta, upper 50s to near 70 southeast, 70s and low 80s Florida, 70s and low 80s south.
