Friday afternoon precipitation was limited in the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop areas. A few rain showers were noted in the northern Great Lakes, northern Delta, the Four Corner area, and the Pacific Northwest. Dry conditions prevailed elsewhere. Temperatures ranged from the mid teens in southern Manitoba and far northern Minnesota to the mid 70s in south Texas.
