A light rain-snow mix was noted in Montana with thundershowers in southwestern Texas Monday afternoon. Otherwise, conditions were dry in the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions with a notable warming trend in the central and Southern Plains. Temperatures ranged from the mid-30s in southern Saskatchewan to the low 70s in portions of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and northern Texas.
