A few rain showers were noted in western Oklahoma through central Texas Wednesday afternoon, and a swath of light snow extended from southern Kansas north and east to northern Indiana. Dry conditions covered the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Temperatures ranged from the single digits in northern Michigan and far northeastern Minnesota to the low 70s in southwestern Texas.
