Wednesday afternoon featured moderate rain showers from southern Texas east through the Southeast, as well as moderate rain with some higher elevation snow in northern California. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the single digits in the southern Prairies and northern Great Lakes to the low 60s in southeastern Georgia.
