Scattered showers and thundershowers occurred through the southeast U.S. during Friday. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas. Temperatures ranged from below zero F in parts of the Canadian Prairies to the 80s in south Florida.

A few scattered snow showers are possible during Saturday through the northern Rockies, parts of Nebraska and in the eastern Midwest region. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key crop and livestock areas. Very cold through the north-central U.S. areas Saturday, warmer for the southern U.S. locations.
