Snow and ice occurred Friday through the central and southeast areas of the Midwest. Rain and some ice occurred through the northern Delta. Showers are expected to move into the southeast U.S. during the evening hours or at night. Little of note elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas on Friday. Temperatures ranged from below zero F in the eastern Canadian Prairies and the northeast Plains to the upper 70s and low 80s in south Texas.
