Light snow continued in the far Southern Plains Friday, with dry conditions elsewhere in the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Scattered snows were noted in the Rockies and intermountain West. Light to moderate rain and snow was also featured in northern California. Temperatures ranged from the single digits above zero in many areas of the Midwest, Northern Plains and Prairies to the low 60s in southern Georgia.
