Light to moderate snow was noted in the Great Lakes through central Illinois and northeastern Missouri Thursday afternoon. Dry conditions covered the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Moderate to strong wind conditions covered the Plains, Midwest and Delta as well. Temperatures ranged from the single digits below zero in the Canadian Prairies and far Northern Plains to the low 70s in the southern Texas Panhandle.
