Light snow was noted in the Texas Panhandle, central Texas and the Delta Thursday afternoon, with light rain in southeastern Texas. Dry conditions dominated the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. A very cold pattern remained in place over almost the entire central and eastern U.S. along with the eastern Prairies. Temperatures ranged from the double digits below zero in northern Minnesota and western Ontario to the mid-70s in far southern Texas.
