Snow and some rain occurred during Monday through the western portion of the Canadian Prairies and into the western portion of the Northern Plains region of the U.S. Rain and showers occurred from near the lower Mississippi River and near the Ohio River into the southeast U.S. areas. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas Monday. Temperatures ranged from the single numbers in the Manitoba area of Canada to the low 80s in southern Florida.
