Light snow and snow showers occurred in the Canadian Prairies Friday. It was mostly dry through key U.S. crop and livestock areas. Temperatures ranged from the teens and 20s in the Canadian Prairies to the low 80s in southern Florida.

Rain and thunderstorms will develop in the southeast and spread northward through the east coast states Saturday and Sunday. Light precipitation on the back side of this low may reach to the upper portion of the Ohio River during Sunday.
