Snow squalls were noted in the Great Lakes Tuesday afternoon. Otherwise, conditions were dry in the major U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Temperatures ranged from the single digits Fahrenheit in the southeastern Prairies to the mid-70s in southern Texas.

Wednesday will be warm, breezy and dry in almost all areas except for the far north. This pattern will be replaced by a new round of colder temperatures during Thursday through the end of the week.
