Snow, ice and rain occurred through the northeast U.S. and the middle Atlantic region during Tuesday. Showers were reported in the southeast. Snow showers through the northern Rockies and the northwest Pains Tuesday. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas. Temperatures ranged from below zero F in the Canadian Prairies to the 80s in Florida.
