Showers were noted across the southern Delta and in the southeast U.S. Monday. Snow showers were evident in the southwest Canadian Prairies and the western part of the northern plains. Light snow also occurred in the Southern Plains. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas Monday. Temperatures ranged from below zero degrees Fahrenheit in the Northern Plains and eastern Prairies to the 80s in Florida.
