Moderate to heavy rain will cover the southeastern U.S. Tuesday, and a round of light to moderate snow will be noted in the northeast and Great Lakes. Otherwise, Tuesday will be dry in the continental U.S. and Canadian Prairies. Temperatures will be very cold for the season in all areas except the Southeast. This combination will be stressful to livestock and for outdoor activity; however, dry conditions will favor transportation.

Highs: Teens/20s Prairies; 30s/40s elsewhere except 50s southern Texas and 50s to 70s Southeast.
