Dry conditions covered all the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the mid-30s in northern Michigan and northern Indiana to the low 70s in western Nebraska.
Thursday will again be dry in the wide majority of crop areas. Exceptions will be in the far north, with light snow in store for northern Minnesota, northeastern North Dakota, southern and western Manitoba, and eastern Saskatchewan. Temperatures will also continue to moderate in the Midwest. This combination will favor continued late-stage harvest progress and fall field work activity.
