Moderate covered much of the central Plains and western Midwest Tuesday afternoon, and a round of light to moderate snow was noted from central Nebraska through eastern South Dakota, northwestern Iowa and western Minnesota. Showers were also featured in the Southern Plains and in scattered areas of the central and southern Midwest. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the low 20s in south-central Saskatchewan to the mid 80s in south Texas.
