Dry conditions with cool to cold temperatures dominated the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions Friday afternoon. The only moisture of note was light showers in the far southwest Plains and immediate Great Lakes. Temperatures ranged from the upper 30s in northern Michigan and northern Wisconsin to the low 80s in south Texas.

Saturday will again be dry for all areas except for light rain in the Southern Plains. The weekend will continue with favorably dry conditions for Corn Belt harvest progress. Wetter conditions move in early next week.
