Scattered light snow and rain showers occurred Thursday through northeast and far eastern areas of the Midwest region. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop areas. Temperatures ranged from the upper 30s in northern Minnesota to the middle 80s in southern Texas.
