Wednesday will feature a swath of light rain in the central Plains through western and central Midwest, and light to moderate rain in the southern Rockies and southwestern U.S. We'll also see a few showers in the Ohio Valley, with dry conditions in effect for the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Temperatures will be warm in the northern and southeastern areas, and hot from the Southern Plains through central Midwest where crop and livestock stress will be noted.
