Light rain showers were noted in eastern Nebraska and southeastern South Dakota Thursday afternoon, and a few thundershowers were indicated in far southern Texas. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the upper 50s in northeastern Michigan and southern Ontario to the mid-90s in southwestern Kansas and central through southern Texas.

Friday will be dry in all areas. Moderate rain will form in the far northwestern Plains Friday evening. In general, however, the next five days offer very little rain for the majority of the Midwest, Plains and Delta. Temperatures will ...
