Light rain showers were noted in eastern Nebraska and southeastern South Dakota Thursday afternoon, and a few thundershowers were indicated in far southern Texas. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the upper 50s in northeastern Michigan and southern Ontario to the mid-90s in southwestern Kansas and central through southern Texas.
