Dry conditions dominated the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures exhibited a notable warming trend. Values ranged from the mid-60s in the eastern Canadian Prairies to the mid-90s across most of Texas.

Thursday will continue to be dry. This pattern offers no improvement in moisture for crops after the recent hot and dry episode in the central U.S.
