Breezy and warm/hot weather observed across the Midwest at midday on Tuesday with temperatures ranging from the middle 80s to low 90s. Scattered showers were confined to the northeast Great Lakes region and parts of central Texas. Temperatures across the Plains and southern states were also mostly in the middle 80s to low 90s.
