Moderate rain showers were noted in northwestern Iowa and eastern South Dakota along with central Missouri Friday afternoon, and scattered thundershowers dotted northern Montana. Dry conditions covered the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Temperatures ranged from the upper 50s in northwestern Montana to 100-plus in southwestern Oklahoma, the Texas Panhandle and northern Texas.
